Actualitat https://dispromedia.com/en/b/blog/rss/2-actualitat Sun, 26 Jul 2026 12:53:39 +0200 <![CDATA[We redesigned the website for RèCOP: the company that restored Casa Batlló and the Roman Amphitheater in Tarragona]]> On July 8, we launched the new website for RèCOP Architectural Restorations: recop.net. Today we’re not talking about just any client. This is a company with more than 30 years of experience restoring some of the most iconic buildings in Catalonia’s cultural heritage, from the façade of Casa Batlló to the Roman Amphitheater in Tarragona, including the Monastery of Vallbona de les Monges and the Hospital de Sant Pau, to name just a few examples. The Tarragona-based company wanted to showcase this long history on its website.

Why an Update Was Necessary

The previous version of the website was functional, but it had become somewhat outdated and no longer showcased the full potential of the company founded by Roser Galceran in 1994.

Until now, the main menu combined the “Projects” and “Research” sections into a single one. The company’s history—dating back to its founding in 1994—was presented as a simple list of years and awards, without any visual elements to help users follow it. And the homepage, despite having good content, failed to convey the true significance of a company that works with institutions of the caliber of the Barcelona History Museum, the Government of Catalonia, and numerous city governments, among others.

Therefore, RèCOP’s online presence needed to take a leap forward to live up to the projects behind it

The Changes, Step by Step

A homepage that says so much more in so much less time

The new homepage features a prominent “Mission, Vision, and Values” section, a section titled “How Can We Help You?” highlighting the four main service areas, and another section, “Why Choose RèCOP?”, featuring the points that really matter: client satisfaction, over 600 completed projects, a qualified team, awards received, and a commitment to the company’s principles. Immediately following that is a selection of featured projects (including Casa Batlló, designed by the famous architect Antoni Gaudí) with a button to see more. None of these sections were previously displayed with the clarity with which they are presented now.

Projects and R&D, Finally Separated

This is probably the most significant change we’ve made in terms of usability. Previously, “Projects” and “R&D” shared the same space in the menu, and in practice, the page only displayed research content (building monitoring, laser cleaning, and lime concrete) without clear access to the actual portfolio of projects. Now, “Projects” and “R&D” are two separate sections, and “Projects” is divided into five distinct categories: Listed Residential Buildings, Apartments, Houses and Farmhouses, Churches and Monasteries, Historic Monuments, and Listed Buildings

Top Drop-Down Menu

“Projects, “About Us, and “What We Do” now each have a drop-down menu in the top bar. This allows you to go directly to the category of your choice—for example, “Churches and Monasteries” or “Infrastructure and Restoration of Historic Monuments”—without having to go through intermediate pages.

“What We Do,” with its own categories

The services section has also been restructured: where there used to be three general categories (facades, heritage elements, and buildings), there are now four distinct categories (Facades, Building Rehabilitation, Restoration of Heritage Elements, and Rehabilitation of Infrastructure and Historic Monuments), each with its own description and direct access from the menu.

A timeline you can follow at a glance

The “About Us” section has evolved from a list of years and awards into a true visual timeline, featuring a vertical line and markers for each year from 2002 to 2025. It’s easy to take in at a glance and, above all, conveys the sense of continuity that 30 years of history deserve.

A client that continues to trust us

RèCOP has been working with Dispromèdia since 2023, and this project is part of a broader relationship with its corporate group, with whom we also collaborate on other corporate websites. When a client of this caliber returns and expands the project, for us, that’s the best reward there could be.

Do you want your website to tell the full story of what you do? If your company has outgrown its current website, let’s talk.

Tell us about your project, and let’s work together to ensure your website showcases everything you’re truly capable of.

<![CDATA[Dispromedia develops the new app for the Tàrrega Funeral Home: obituaries on your mobile phone]]> There are services that, by their very nature, are indispensable. Undoubtedly, information about deaths and obituaries is a prime example: families and those close to the deceased need to access it in real time, from anywhere, quickly and without hassle. The Tàrrega Funeral Home has embraced this demand from the public, who are accustomed to having an up-to-date digital information channel for obituaries and deaths, and has invested in its own mobile app to guarantee this service. Dispromèdia was the development company.

A new app to continue offering an essential service to the public

Since the fall of 2018, the Tàrrega Funeral Home (Lleida) had offered this service through Decesia, an external platform that has recently been discontinued. With the disappearance of the old application, the Urgell company saw the need to find a solution that would allow it to continue providing digital information about deaths and obituaries, but without relying on third-party tools.

The decision was clear: to have a proprietary, custom-developed application under the funeral home's full control. A project that we at Dispromèdia have supported from the very beginning, from functional design to its launch in the Android and iOS app stores.

What does the Tanatori Tàrrega app do?

The app has been designed to be useful, approachable, and accessible, especially for people who are going through a difficult time and need clear, hassle-free information.

 • View updated obituaries and death notices

From the app, you can view the most recent obituaries and death notices from the Tàrrega Funeral Home, with full details for each listing: images and expanded information for each case.

 • Real-time push notifications

Users can activate push notifications and receive an alert on their mobile phone when a new obituary is published. A direct and immediate channel that eliminates the need to actively check the app.

 • Direct contact with the center

The app integrates all contact channels with the funeral home: office phone, 24-hour phone, email, a map with its location, and access to the service's website. All in one place, without the need to search for the information separately.

 • Accessible and easy-to-use design for all users

The app has been designed with the diverse users who will be using it in mind. The navigation is clear and intuitive, with a clean visual experience that makes it easy to navigate, even for people unfamiliar with mobile devices.

Why a dedicated app and not a generic platform?

When a benefit is as sensitive as this one, the technological solution that makes it possible must be completely aligned with the needs of the service and the people who use it. A generic tool can cover standard needs, but it rarely adapts to the identity, workflows, and specific requirements of a facility like a funeral home.

With its own app, the Tàrrega Funeral Home gains autonomy and total control over the service: who can post on it, how information is displayed, how notifications are managed, and how the tool evolves in the future. There is no dependence on third-party platforms or risk of losing service if a provider disappears or changes its terms, as has happened with Decesia.

Additionally, the app projects an image that is consistent with the center's identity, which reinforces users' trust at a time when it is crucial.

A project that reflects the way Dispromèdia works

The development of the Tàrrega Funeral Home app is a good example of how we at Dispromèdia approach the digital projects we take on: we listen to the client's real needs, propose tailor-made solutions, and provide support throughout all phases of the process, from the initial idea to the launch.

It wasn't just about creating a functional app, but about understanding the context—a public utility service with users in emotionally delicate situations—and translating it into a digital tool that was, at the same time, technically sound and humanly approachable.

With over 20 years of experience designing and developing digital solutions for businesses and organizations of all kinds, at Dispromèdia we have the technical resources and strategic insight necessary to tackle projects of any scale and in any sector: from corporate websites and online stores to mobile applications like this one.

Now available for Android and iOS

The Tanatori Tàrrega app is now available for free download on both Google Play (Android) and the App Store (iOS). Anyone who wants to stay informed about the center's obituaries can install and set it up in just a few minutes.

You can find the app available in the Apple and Google stores. Here are the links:

<![CDATA[Dispromedia, present at the 10th edition of Lleida Digital: Technology, Territory, and Future Opportunities]]> Part of the Dispromèdia team attended the 10th edition of Lleida Digital, an event that year after year brings together professionals, companies, and content creators in Mollerussa who are connected to technology, marketing, and innovation. For us, participating is a way to stay up to date and hear new perspectives that allow us to reinforce our commitment to offering the best digital solutions to our clients.

In this edition, the event made it clear that digital transformation has long since stopped being optional. It became apparent during the event that innovation and the use of the right tools make companies' day-to-day operations easier and improve their productivity, while paving the way to success.

Cybersecurity, a challenge no company can ignore

One of the first ideas put on the table was the need to invest in cybersecurity, especially among small and medium-sized businesses. Regardless of a company's size, all of us, absolutely all of us, are exposed to the same risks. As Montse Mateu of Semat Data pointed out , current attacks are much more sophisticated than they were a few years ago and often stem from public information that we ourselves share on social media.

This reminder is essential: sharing content on the internet is necessary to grow a brand, but it's also important to be aware of the risks and protect ourselves accordingly. At Dispromèdia, we are very mindful of this, which is why we have established a strategic alliance with SecureOn Consulting.

Success stories that demonstrate that a digital presence is a long-term investment

Similarly, several speakers at the gathering, which brought together half a thousand professionals, shared their experience and explained how they have used the digital world to transform their projects.

In this regard, for example, sleep specialist psychologist Núria Roure stressed that social media is a good tool for getting your name out there. Roure stated that "we have to understand them as a long-term investment. A solid and approachable presence, sustained with consistency, can become one of the best tools for attracting and retaining clients."

Along the same lines, farmer and content creator Guillem Gómez spoke, who has accumulated more than 174,000 followers on Instagram by talking about his daily life on the farm, raising awareness about the agricultural world, and even promoting his own cleaning product specifically for the agro-industrial sector.

Artificial intelligence: a powerful tool that needs people behind it

Geni Ramos 's intervention focused on the current role of artificial intelligence. AI tools allow us to automate processes, detect patterns, and increase efficiency. But she also reminded us of an essential point: technology is just that, a tool.

It is up to us, the people, to set the strategy, supervise, make decisions, and provide judgment. In this vein, Eurecat researchers Ian Palacín and Marcel Ortiz presented practical cases of tasks that AI can already perform much more quickly and accurately, demonstrating that the future lies in incorporating it responsibly and adapting it to the needs of each sector.

Territory, talent, and local suppliers

Another highlight was the intervention by chef Joel Castanyé, who advocated for the importance of working with local products. As he explained, he, as a cook, feels a duty to use ingredients from the region to add value to local farmers and contribute to local development.

Castanyé highlighted that this message is perfectly applicable to any business sector. This includes the digital world as well. At Dispromèdia, we deeply believe in this philosophy and put it into practice with Ebasnet, our Km0 CMS, developed 100% locally to offer a robust, accessible, and tailored solution to the reality of local businesses.

Adaptation, innovation, and authenticity: the pillars of brands that work

Other testimonials reinforced a common idea: companies that evolve and innovate are the ones that excel.

 • Ángel Velasco, from Torrons Vicens, emphasized the importance of returning to one's roots and differentiating oneself from the competition with proprietary products.
 • Rafael Oncins, from Plusfresc, explained how constant adaptation is key to staying competitive.
 • Josep Esteve, of Rodi Motor Services, emphasized the need to empower teams so that people feel part of the project and companies can retain talent.

Finally, communicator Uri Sabat focused on personal branding and the power of stories to connect. "On social media, before buying a product, we connect with people, values, and real stories."

Why does Dispromèdia attend these types of events?

Attending the 10th edition of Lleida Digital reaffirms our clear vision: innovation doesn't stop, and neither do we.

As a local company, we actively participate in events, meetups, and networking days -such as e-Show, LinkUp Fest, or the lunches organized by the Tàrrega Chamber of Commerce and Industry- because we believe in the power of local alliances and in the need to build a business network to continue growing together.

<![CDATA[Instagram for SMEs: how it works and how to get the most out of it]]> Instagram has become one of the most powerful platforms at our disposal to connect brands and people. Its format, which prioritizes images (whether static or animated), the diversity of content it allows and its ability to foster active communities make it an indispensable tool for any company looking to gain visibility, establish genuine relationships with its audience and increase sales.

At Dispromèdia we have been successfully advising small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the strategic use of social networks for five years. That's why, day after day, we witness Instagram's ability to transform a business' digital presence when used strategically. That's why we've put together a simple and up-to-date Instagram Basics Guide, which you can request for free if you want to go even deeper.

How does Instagram work today?

Instagram is a visual social network where content is displayed based on users' interests and behavior within the app. In other words, the famous algorithm is responsible for deciding which posts are shown to us based on our preferences and the actions we take on the social network run by American entrepreneur Adam Mosseri (@mosseri). We recommend that you follow his account to keep up to date with all the latest news on Instagram.

Captura de pantalla del feed d'Instagram d'Adam Mosseri

In other words, not all the posts we make reach all our followers, as the algorithm mainly rewards:

 • Actual interaction (comments, replies, replies, saves).
 • Viewing time, especially on Reels.
 • Consistency and thematic relevance.
 • Content that adds value and sparks conversation.

You can consult the analysis recently published by Metricool on how the algorithm currently works to better understand how it works

We must also keep in mind that Instagram periodically introduces changes in the algorithm and that we must adapt to them in order not to be left behind. To give just one example, do you remember that last year Instagram changed the size of the feed thumbnails and made them vertical? It's just one example of the continuous updates that take place on the platform. Therefore, you should be aware that what works today may no longer work tomorrow.

Although social networks have lost much of their social function - their original purpose was to connect people - and have become content platforms, they are a tool that companies must understand in order not to lose competitiveness against our competitors.

Why Instagram is a powerful marketing tool for SMEs

Unlike other platforms, Instagram offers small businesses a megaphone to reach their audience on the same level as big brands. In theory, this social network, which brings together more than two billion users worldwide, opens a huge window of opportunity for any type of company or business, whether it is a sole trader or a multinational (in practice, we will see that the resources available and, above all, the knowledge of the tool itself determine the results). Nevertheless, SMEs can take advantage of it if we play our cards right.

Some of its main advantages are:

Visual power that generates confidence

Images and videos make it possible to show products, services and processes in an attractive and approachable way. In addition, honest and natural content is increasingly effective.

2. Organic reach with real growth potential

Reels (and now also carousels or publications with several images) are a very powerful gateway to reach people who are not yet familiar with our business. You can find more information about the formats supported by Instagram and their dimensions in this article from the Trecebits portal.

3. Direct relationship with customers

Stories, private messages (DMs) or surveys are Instagram tools that allow you to talk directly with users, resolve doubts and offer a quick service.

4. The ability to convert followers into customers

With a clear strategy, Instagram can help us generate web traffic, bookings, sales and inquiries.

For example, the printable educational resources store Petits de Poble, developed with our own web content creation and management platform, Ebasnet, has been using Instagram for a long time to advertise its products, which are already used by hundreds and hundreds of teachers from all over Catalonia and other parts of Spain.

Basic recommendations to get off to a good start

If you've just opened an Instagram account, are thinking about doing so or are reviewing your company's presence on this social network, these guidelines will be useful:

1. Post carefully, not just frequently

Plan your content according to the objectives you want to achieve: inform, inspire, educate or sell. Avoid posting out of obligation.

2. Use formats that work

Carousels are still a great way to gain reach. Especially useful when you want to offer step-by-step guides, talk about common mistakes or provide checklists, carousels generate a lot of saves and help position you as an authority.

3. Use hashtags wisely

Today, hashtags are tools to categorize content, not to achieve virality. Therefore , their use should be limited and sensible. You should use between three and five (in fact, the application itself has already started to limit the number) and they should be specific and useful to provide context. We recommend you take a look at Trecebits' article "How many hashtags should be used on Instagram" and watch (and save) this Metricool Reel to find out how they currently work:

4. Optimize your bio and improve the consistency of your profile

Explain what you do, for whom and what you offer. And, above all, maintain a consistent graphic style.

5. Publish strategically and measure results

Without objectives, there is no return. Therefore, the first step is to stop and think about what we want to achieve and, from there, define the content strategy we will follow before developing a content plan. Gone are the days of publishing when we have time!

If you don't know where to start and you already have an Instagram account, we recommend that you analyze the metrics provided by the tool. They will help you see what's working and what needs to be adjusted. If you need it, our Communication and Marketing department can advise you.

Why it is important to post strategically

Many companies post on Instagram without a plan and then conclude that "it doesn't work". But the reality is:

 • Instagram does work, but it requires consistency and clear objectives.
 • The algorithm recognizes accounts that post consistent content targeted to their audience.
 • Scattered actions generate limited reach; structured strategies generate results.

If you need ideas, we recommend this article published on the Hootsuite blog, where you will find many useful tips

<![CDATA[Authentic Jijona nougat, just a click away]]> There are flavors that are associated with a specific time of the year. This is the case of nougat, intimately linked to the Christmas holidays. If we had to choose which is the flavor of Christmas, surely many would answer that it is the Jijona nougat. Made with almonds and honey, following a centuries-old recipe, this sweet has become a symbol of tradition, quality and authenticity.

Did you know that at Dispromèdia we have a very special relationship with this product? The reason is that the families of two of our partners are originally from the town in Alicante that gives its name to these nougats. No wonder that Jijona (Alicante, Valencia) is recognized as the world capital of nougat. The Verdú family has been making nougat for three generations and, today, continues to keep this tradition alive through our online store: turrones.es.

Why choose our nougat?

 • Guaranteed quality: our Jijona and Alicante nougats are protected by the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), which certifies their authenticity.
 • Artisan production: we follow the traditional processes that have made our nougat a unique product.
 • Variety for all tastes: in our store you will find classic nougat, specialties and Christmas sweets to complete your gift baskets.

Our nougat varieties

Easy shopping and shipping throughout Spain

In turrones.es you can place your order quickly and safely. We take care of preparing and shipping it anywhere in the country, so you can enjoy the best nougat without leaving home.
